Delaware judge rules against AstraZeneca, focusing attention on upcoming cases

A federal district judge in Delaware has rejected AstraZeneca’s contentions that the Inflation Reduction Act’s Medicare drug negotiation program violates administrative law and the U.S. Constitution. The ruling is the third strike against pharmaceutical industry IRA lawsuits, following defeats in lawsuits filed by PhRMA in Texas and several chambers of commerce in Ohio.
