Huntsman to head commercial at Madrigal

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:MDGL) hired Carole Huntsman as chief commercial officer, as the company prepares to launch resmetirom to treat non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. Huntsman was SVP, head of specialty care North America and U.S. country lead at Sanofi (Euronext:SAN; NASDAQ:SNY), where she held roles for over 11 years. Resmetirom is under FDA review with a March 14 PDUFA date.
