O’Callaghan to lead Deep Genomics as CEO

Deep Genomics Inc. hired Brian O’Callaghan to succeed founder and CEO Brendan Frey, who will become chief innovation officer of the AI company. The company also appointed William “Chip” Baird, lead independent director, as chair. O’Callaghan was CEO of ObsEva S.A. (SIX:OBSN); Baird was named COO at 2seventy bio Inc. (NASDAQ:TSVT) this week.
Fibrosis company Pliant Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:PLRX) hired Minnie Kuo as chief development officer. Kuo was SVP of translational and clinical development operations at Vir Biotechnology Inc. (NASDAQ:VIR)...
