Cell and gene therapy likely beneficiary of China foreign investment initiative 

As the Biden administration moves to limit investment of U.S. capital into Chinese technologies, a new initiative from Beijing to spur foreign investment in China names biomedicine as a focus and could smooth the path to market for cell and gene therapies in the country.

The initiative, released Sunday and coming against a backdrop of slowing growth in the country, aims to “optimize the environment for foreign investment, facilitate investment promotion and expend more efforts to attract foreign investment.”...
