Rakhit to succeed Third Rock’s Celniker at Flare

Cancer company Flare Therapeutics Inc. named Amit Rakhit as president and CEO, succeeding interim CEO Abbie Celniker. Celniker, who will continue as chair, is a partner at Third Rock Ventures. Rakhit was CEO of Sporos Bioventures LLC, and president and CMO of Ovid Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:OVID). Flare is targeting “switch sites” of transcription factors with small molecules.
