Seghers joins CBC as it expands into Europe

CBC Group is expanding its reach with the addition of its first representative in Europe. Nicolas Seghers joined the firm as a managing director based in London. Seghers is a veteran of Chorus Capital, Oaktree Capital and Permira. CBC recently had a final close of $1.67 billion for C-Bridge Healthcare Fund V, its flagship PE fund.
Gut-brain axis company Kallyope Inc. promoted Shirly Pinto to CSO, and hired Jiajun Liu as VP and head of biometrics, and Michael Crutchlow as VP and head of translational medicine. Pinto joined the company in 2017 from Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK). Liu was VP and head of biometrics at Gemini Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:GMTX) and Crutchlow was executive director of late-stage clinical research in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism at Merck. ...
