Sandrock joins Voyager revival
Biogen veteran joins Higgins, Pierce in turnaround initiative at gene therapy company

Voyager’s reboot received more validation Thursday with the addition of longtime Biogen R&D leader Al Sandrock to its board and a newly formed executive committee.
Sandrock joins Chairman and interim CEO Michael Higgins and interim CSO Glenn Pierce as they look to build momentum at Voyager Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:VYGR) in the wake of a restructuring triggered by a series of setbacks including terminated partnerships, safety concerns and the departure of top management pushed the company’s stock to an all-time low.
