BARDA is venturing into global health security
Through BARDA Ventures, the U.S. government will fund health security technology platforms
The U.S. government has launched BARDA Ventures, the first foray into venture capital for HHS, with a promise to put $100 million to $1 billion to work to strengthen global health security.
Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) has committed to providing the venture fund with a minimum of $50 million over five years and a maximum of $500 million over ten years.
