Gubitz replaces Castaldi as CFO at argenx; plus Evelo, Athira, Adverum, Nuvation and more

Autoimmune and oncology company argenx S.E. (Euronext:ARGX; NASDAQ:ARGX) hired Karl Gubitz as CFO. He succeeds Eric Castaldi, who will remain with the company till June 30. Gubitz, an 18-year veteran of Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), was most recently VP of finance in the global oncology business unit.

Evelo Biosciences Inc. (NASDAQ:EVLO) hired Mark Plinio as chief commercial officer, effective June 14. Plinio, who spent nearly two decades in roles at Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS; SIX:NOVN),  joins the microbiome company from Ironwood Pharmaceuticals Inc.
