Pfizer-BioNTech BLA for Comirnaty won’t block EUA for other COVID-19 vaccines

Approval of a full BLA for Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech won’t prevent FDA from issuing new emergency use authorizations for other COVID-19 vaccines, keeping the door open for next-in-line vaccines from AstraZeneca and Novavax.
