DNA lagging in the COVID-19 vaccine race: Data Byte

At the start of the pandemic, three major nucleic acid modalities were in the running to yield a COVID-19 vaccine, but only RNA and viral vector vaccines have made it across the finish line, leaving DNA vaccines behind.
