2020’s most active biotech VCs: Data Byte

OrbiMed Advisors continued to lead the pack in terms of number of biotech VC investments made in 2020, followed by RA Capital and Cormorant. 

According to BioCentury’s BCIQ database, the top 50 VCs by number of biotech deals each participated in at least 30 rounds from 2015-20. OrbiMed was the standout, participating in 167 rounds during the period, 35% more than Arch, which came second at 106 rounds. ...
