CEPI contracts for 1B COVID-19 vaccine doses

The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations has signed deals that get it half way to its goal of securing capacity to manufacture 2 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines for developing countries.

CEPI announced Wednesday that is has contracted with Biofabri, a Spanish vaccine developer and manufacturer, and with GC Pharma, a South Korean biopharma. Each of the companies has reserved capacity to produce 500 million doses of vaccines by May 2022. ...
