HYALF presented results of two Phase III trials of HYAL-CT1101 showing significant resolution rates of basal cell cancers.

In a total of 90 patients enrolled in Australia, 40 percent of 43 patients given the drug had complete or near-complete resolution of lesions, while 47 percent had a positive but partial response. A placebo-treated group showed an 8 percent remission rate, which the company said was in line with published rates of spontaneous remission for this skin cancer.
