The U.S. District Court in New Jersey declared invalid U.S. Patent No. 5,016,652 covering Ciby-Geigy Corp.'s transdermal nicotine system. The suit originally was filed by Ciba-Geigy in 1991, alleging that AZA's Nicoderm transdermal nicotine system infringed the '652 patent. ...
