The Seattle company presented Phase I data in 34 patients at the meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology in Dallas, indicating that of 19 evaluable patients, 20 percent responded.
Patients showed less toxicity to the IL-2, with only one patient experiencing a lisophylline-related adverse effect, a tachycardia that was reversible. The patient received an intermediate dose. Sixteen other participants were treated at the same or higher doses without side effects. ...
