Investigators presented mouse data showing that the Mississauga, Ontario, company's formulation prevented and reversed the formation of new blood vessels.
In a model of angiogenesis, mice were treated with drug in an aqueous base, drug with hyaluronan, hyaluronan alone, or aqueous base alone. Treatment with the hyaluronan/drug combination for 14 days resulted in a 25.3 percent reduction in vascular content (p<0.05). ...
