EPT renewed for a three-year period its supply and distribution agreements with Organon Teknika Corp. (Durham, N.C.). Organon supplies EPT with antigens in return for exclusive worldwide rights to purchase and market EPT's Western Blot HIV-1 confirmatory test kits.

Separately, the Beaverton, Ore., company said it has embarked on improvements of its manufacturing facility for the OraSure oral specimen collection device for HIV-1 testing, in response to the FDA's pre-approval inspection. ...
