AMBI reported a statistically significant (p=0.05) reduction in systolic and diastolic blood pressure in patients by 7.4 and 3.6 mm of mercury, respectively, using Cardia salt compared to those using regular salt in seasonings and in processed foods.
In the Japanese study, 30 hypertensive patients were randomized to receive either regular salt or Cardia over a five week period. Patients who received Cardia also experienced elevations in potassium and magnesium and reductions in sodium as measured in urine. ...
