Chiron, Ben Venue Laboratories deal

The companies reached an agreement in principle for Ben Venue to buy CHIR's share of their 50/50 joint venture in generic oncology products for an undisclosed amount. The joint venture was formed by Ben Venue and Cetus Corp. as Cetus Ben Venue Therapeutics (CBVT), prior to CHIR's acquisition of Cetus in 1991. The venture posted $32 million in sales in 1995. ...
