The U.S. District Court in Seattle issued two orders in the lawsuit brought by CIST involving IMNX's alleged misappropriation of the DNA sequence for interleukin-1 beta (IL-1b).

The court dismissed CIST's claims against IMNX and its co-founders under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, and dismissed CIST's claim against IMNX's co-founders for fraud. The court also dismissed CIST's claim to have its affiliated scientists named as co-inventors on IMNX's IL-1 patent and denied CIST's motion to dismiss IMNX's unfair competition counterclaim. ...
