Biopool, Source Scientific Inc. deal

BIPL (Ventura, Calif.) will acquire SSF, a supplier of instrumentation used in diagnostic testing, for 3 million BIPL common shares. SSF (Garden Grove, Calif.) had revenues of $5 million for its fiscal year ended June 30, and expects to record a profit in 1996. BIPL, which closed at $1.688 on Friday, has 7.9 million shares outstanding prior to the merger. ...
