Atrix, Gensia Inc. deal

The companies signed a worldwide license agreement to develop a treatment for solid tumors using ATRX's Atrigel drug delivery system. ATRX (Fort Collins, Colo.) will conduct a feasibility study to characterize release rates of an undisclosed anti-cancer drug incorporated into the Atrigel system.

GNSA is responsible for clinical trials, scale-up, manufacture, marketing and distribution of the product, which will be sold by its Gensia Laboratories Ltd. subsidiary. ATRX will receive royalties. ...
