University researchers published the amino acid sequence of a peptide that plays a role in rejection of marrow transplants. The peptide, representing the HLA-A2.1-restricted HA-2 epitope, was identified by tandem mass spectrometry.

DNA databases showed that the sequence of the peptide is similar to that of filamentous class I myosins, proteins involved in cell locomotion and intracellular transport. ...
