ATIS (La Jolla, Calif.) announced in vivo animal data showing healing of cartilage in knees at the Orthopedic Research Society meeting in Orlando, Fla. Twenty implants into rabbits all showed incorporation within six to eight weeks compared to controls that did not heal.
