Biomatrix sales and marketing update

BIOX received European approval for Synvisc to treat osteoarthritis of the knee. The product, an elastoviscous fluid composed of hylans (modified hyaluronans), now can be sold in 19 countries that are members of the European Economic Area. Synvisc is awaiting U.S. approval.

In addition, BIOX received European approval to market Hylaform, a hylan product for cosmetic correction of facial wrinkles and depressed scars. BIOX is in negotiations with potential marketing partners. A U.S. PLA was submitted in September. ...
