Oncogene deal

ONCS (Uniondale, N.Y.) and Ciba-Geigy Ltd. expanded their collaboration for recombinant human transforming growth factor beta 3 (TGF-beta 3) to include treatment of oral mucositis in cancer chemotherapy. Ciba will purchase $5 million of newly issued common shares, and has an option for rights to other indications for the product upon the payment of an additional $10 million.

The companies plan to file an IND for oral mucositis in 1995. ...
