UNVX said The BioPlex Group, which had agreed in July to finance, construct and lease a $45 million manufacturing and research facility, has ceased its activities in the biotech field due to undisclosed pending litigation. The termination of the BioPlex facility, which was to have handled UNVX's pilot vaccine and polyclonal antibody production, "does not have any near- or long-term effect" on the company, UNVX said.
