Mycogen deal

The company (San Diego) exchanged $7 million in cash and 2 million shares of MYCO common stock for an additional 29.5 percent of Mycogen Plant Sciences (MPS), which is owned by MYCOand the Lubrizol Corp. The acquistion brings MYCO's equity stake in MPS to more than 80 percent, and the company has agreed to purchase the remaining 19.5 percent over time.
