ARGS (The Woodlands, Texas) presented preliminary Phase I data in 35 patients who had failed other therapies, showing sustained blood levels for up to 85 days, with two remissions among five patients with APL. One remission has persisted for several months. The agent was given every other day in escalating doses.

Blood levels were maintained from one to 15 days, with no significant differences at those time points. In comparison, decreases in blood levels can begin within 72 hours with oral administration of the agent. ...
