Rilutek riluzole data

Results of a Phase III study published in The Lancet indicate that Rilutek increases survival at 18 months in ALS patients.

The trial enrolled 959 patients who received placebo or 50, 100 or 200 mg of Rilutek daily. The primary outcome measure was survival without a tracheostomy. Secondary outcomes were rates of change in a series of functional measures, such as muscle strength and respiratory function. ...
