Sepracoat hyaluronic acid coating solution data

University researchers presented positive data from a pivotal trial of Sepracoat in 245 women who received myomectomies and other open gynecologic surgical procedures.
There were 108 women in the placebo group who received a buffered saline solution and 137 women who received 0.4 percent Sepracoat solution. Sepracoat or saline as applied to the entire peritoneal cavity immediately after opening the patient, after irrigation, at 30 minute intervals, and at the end of the procedure. Patients received an average of 650-660 cc of solution, with an average of just under 5 applications. ...
