Millennium, Eli Lilly deal

The companies broadened their agreement in genomic technologies to include a focus on select areas in oncology of importance to Lilly. The companies agreed in 1995 to use Millennium's genetic and genomic approaches in atherosclerosis (see BioCentury, Oct. 30, 1995).
Payments by Lilly to Millennium for the total, expanded collaboration will be up to $69 million in equity, upfront and research funding payments if the expanded collaboration runs for the five-year term. Millennium also would be eligible for milestone payments and royalties. ...
