Lion Pharmaceuticals, Johns Hopkins University deal

Lion was launched as an independent company from the university's office of technology licensing. Lion plans to be a discovery engine to commercialize research done at Johns Hopkins and other universities, with a focus on developing small molecule therapeutics. Lion intends to fund several early-stage projects at academic institutions in several disease areas with the potential to license some or all.
