Antisoma raises L23.7 million

Cancer play Antisoma (LSE:ASM; NASD-EU:ASOM) has raised L23.7 million ($33.9 million) in a rights issue through the sale of 118.5 million shares at 20p. The 20p purchase price is a 35% discount to ASM's Thursday close at 31p. Investors included Leventis Holding; Abbott (ABT); the Imperial Cancer Research Fund; 3i; company directors; and other private investors.
