NICE recommends arthritis drugs

The U.K.'s National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommended the use of Enbrel etanercept and Remicade infliximab to treat adults with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who have not responded to methotrexate and at least one other DMARD. Enbrel, a soluble TNF receptor from Immunex (IMNX) and Wyeth (WYE), also was recommended to treat active Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in children ages 4-17. ...
