FDA completes conflict of interest review

Acting FDA Commissioner Lester Crawford said the agency completed its review of all outside consulting agreements of FDA employees for the last five years and found no additional "approved outside activities of concern." The agency also announced it has expanded the number of FDA employees required to file declarations of their financial holdings, and will conduct yearly reviews of outside activities linked to financial disclosure statements. ...
