Biosite reports earnings, raises guidance

BSTE reported second quarter EPS of $0.59, in-line with its recently bumped-up guidance and up 37% from EPS of $0.43 in the same period last year. Revenue increased 34% quarter over quarter to $59.9 million from $44.7 million, reflecting strong sales of BSTE's Triage BNP Test for heart failure.
