Personalized Medicine Coalition launched

Edward Abrahams, former executive director of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association, has been appointed executive director of the newly formed Personalized Medicine Coalition (PMC), which will be based in Washington.
The PMC, which was created to advance the adoption and reimbursement of personalized medicine, plans to expand membership to include healthcare providers, payers and academic researchers, said Patrick Terry, the group's co-founder and secretary.
