Icahn files to boost IMCL stake

Cancer company ImClone (IMCL) said that financier Carl Icahn filed to acquire up to $500 million of the company's stock, including the shares he already holds. According to an SEC filing, Icahn owned 5 million IMCL shares as of March 15, which is 6% of the company's 83.6 million shares outstanding.
