Schering's Vasovist gets positive opinion

The EMEA's CHMP issued a positive opinion to Schering (FSE:SCH; SHR) for Vasovist gadofosveset ( MS-325) vascular imaging agent for MRA scans of abdominal or limb vessels in patients with suspected or known vascular disease. SHR has exclusive worldwide rights to the compound from Epix (EPIX). The partners hope for approval at year end and expect to launch in Europe next year. ...
