Fluvirin facility passes FDA inspection

CHIR said its Liverpool facility, which manufactures Fluvirin influenza vaccine, has passed FDA inspection. CHIR said it still will need supplemental regulatory approvals for improvements to facilities, equipment and processes that were part of the company's remediation plan before it can sell Fluvirin in the U.S. The vaccine also will have to pass an annual formal product release by FDA.
