CombinatoRx misses periodontitis endpoint

CRXX said CRx-119 in combination with scaling and root planing (SRP) missed the primary endpoint of reduction in C-reactive protein (CRP) levels vs. placebo plus SRP in a Phase IIa trial to treat chronic adult periodontitis. The preliminary data also showed that the combination of prednisolone and amoxapine missed the secondary endpoint of reduction in periodontal pocket depth.
