Aeterna Zentaris planning offering

Aeterna Zentaris Inc. (TSX:AEZ; NASDAQ:AEZS) proposed to raise US$10 million through the sale of 5.3 million shares at US$1.88 in a registered direct offering to institutional investors. The price is a 4% discount to Aeterna's close of US$1.96 on Thursday, before the deal was announced. Investors also will receive 30-month warrants to purchase 1.9 million shares at US$2.06.
