Life Technologies raises $1.5 billion

Life Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:LIFE) raised $1.5 billion in a note deal underwritten by Bank of America Merrill Lynch; Goldman Sachs; JPMorgan; DnB NOR; Scotia; BNP Paribas; Mizuho; Morgan Stanley; and RBS. The tools and reagents company sold $250 million in 3.375% senior notes due 2013; $500 million in 4.4% senior notes due 2015; and $750 million in 6% senior notes due 2020. ...
