Vernalis raises L30 million

Vernalis plc (LSE:VER) raised L30 million ($45.4 million) through the sale of 39.4 million shares at 76p in a previously announced placing and open offer underwritten by Piper Jaffray. Shareholders were eligible to purchase 19 new shares in the open offer for every 29 shares held. Vernalis was unchanged at 74.50p on Monday. ...
