Codexis raises $78 million in IPO

Codexis Inc. (NASDAQ:CDXS) raised $78 million through the sale of 6 million shares at $13 in an IPO underwritten by Credit Suisse; Piper Jaffray; RBC Capital Markets; and Pacific Crest Securities. The price was at the bottom of the company's proposed $13-$15 range and values the company at $441.7 million. A $14 price would have raised $84 million and valued the company at $475.7 million.
