Astellas extends OSI offer

Astellas Pharma Inc. (Tokyo:4503) extended for a second time its unsolicited tender offer of $52 per share for OSI Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:OSIP) to May 17 from April 23. Astellas previously extended the offer to April 23 from March 31.
