Novartis reports earnings

Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS; SIX:NOVN) reported 3Q10 core EPS of $1.36, up 19% in constant currency terms from $1.17 in 3Q09. Third quarter net sales were $12.6 billion, up 16% from $11.1 billion in 3Q09. The pharma also reported $292 million in 3Q10 sales for its generic version of anticoagulant Lovenox enoxaparin from sanofi-aventis Group (Euronext:SAN; NYSE:SNY).
