CMS to discuss ESAs

CMS's Medicare Evidence Development & Coverage Advisory Committee (MEDCAC) will meet on Jan. 19, 2011, as part of an ongoing national coverage analysis (NCA) for the use of erythropoiesis stimulating agents (ESAs) to treat anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
